My brother just purchased an 85 Westy with an auto
trans. With the fluid level being checked and up
to the level it is supposed to be , there is a
problem . When he drives even a short distance,
trans fluid backs up out of the fill tube! My
suggestion to him was to check the breather to see
if #1 there is one, and #2 it is clear and not
clogged in some way. Anyone ever experience this
problem? Any suggestions?
