Welcome back, Gerry!  I've missed you.

    Question...We are replacing the CB installed by the PO.  PO had a metal
plate bolted to the luggage rack so the magnetic antenna would stick, and the
antenna wire went down through the corner drain hole (driver's side) and out
from under the luggage rack seal at the corner, and then down the vertical
rain gutter at the front. We'd like to repeat this with the new antenna but
can't figure out how to get the wire under the luggage rack seal.  I guess
we'll have to unscrew the whole luggage rack and lift it up a bit?  How does
that work, and how hard is it to put back exactly (line up holes, etc.)
    I would appreciate any advice, or alternative suggestions for the antenna
wire.  The collective creativity on this list is amazing!
