the tracks for the sliding windows that have the little notches in them to
keep them locked:

one of my windows won't stay locked due to a worn out groove. i was thinking
about swapping the tracks on both sides of the van, since there's notches at
both ends of the track. has anyone removed these, they appear to be just
glued in.

my main question being, if it is an easy job, or a messy one.
