I found an interesting.. Mini Fluorescent lite (tm) at Home Depot.
it runs on 4 AA's (and also has a 6vdc input fitting, which allows it to run
using 6vdc or a common cube ac/dc 120 adapter)
The lite itself measures about 1.5" sq. x 6.5" long and can be placed just
about anywhere... it has Velcro adhesive squares which make mounting
easy..... I placed mine just over the sliding door (never knew why there
wasn't a light there anyway?) ....make sure your folding bed clears the
light, when the bed is down... I have it mounted very close to the edge, but
still on top, it lights the upstairs area when the tops popped, can be
pulled off the Velcro and used anywhere as an area lite, but makes an easy
to reach light when you go back to the van in the dark and are just looking
for something inside the door area... I also bought one of those Garanty
(sp.?) flashlights that has the sliding head, that allows it to be either a
decent flashlight or a stable area lite. It also runs on 4 AA's..... I'm
trying to stick to AA's in all my toys, walkman's, photo flash etc.....any
way here's the facts..think I paid $7.95us at Home Depot
