i just remembered, the '79 bus im selling is a 9 pass..

anyway -
For sale:
'79 Bus 9 passenger. has the bench front seat. white over blue, 4spd.
aircooled 2.0L FI w/ hyd lifters. (same engine as in '80-'83 vanagon)
this bus has NO RUST  very solid. all glass nice, no cracks, headliner nice,
bumpers nice, tires practically new..
the bus runs, but #3 cyl is bad. just needs #3 pist/cyl. (not a hard job)
the tranny is in great shape. i have a good aircooled  2.0L FI hyd. lifter
engine i will sell with the bus if anyone just wants to slap another engine
in there.
$600 for the bus, as is, (it runs, as is)  or $1000 for the bus w/ a good
engine.
