Does anybody know if the VW TDI 1.9 ltr will fit on a 87 Audi 5000 Quattro
trans. I've been bitching for years to VW for not sending us any of the same 4
wheel drive VW's available in Germany, like Golf's, Jetta's and Passat's. I've
told VW to send me a new Passat TDI with 4 wheel drive, or even the AWD Golf's
and Jetta's. I'm tired of waiting. So when my 5 cyl motor quits, I'm
installing the 1.9 ltr TDI. With a 21.5 gallon tank in the Audi, I'll be able
to go 1000 miles on a tank of gas, pretty cool huh.  Current Passat TDI owners
are getting 800 miles to a tank with a 18 gal. tank. Is there an adapter plate
available?  Thanks, Michael.
