Lately, my 89 Weekender's shifter has felt kinda loose and vague.
There seems to be a lot of slop between gears and getting into gear
requires a lot more attention than it did before.  This loose feeling
affects all the gears and not just 3-4.

Do you think something is coming loose?  Or am I just noticeing the
difference in the tranny as warmer weather appears and I'm no longer
driving in freezing conditions?
