Oops.

I sent this to the expired temporary list.  Thanks to many of you who responded anyway.  The consensus is...   Try and fix them or have them fixed.

Beware, This all came up due to a minor accident and subsequent claim.  Insurance company estimate states that front bumper replacement only (parts and labor) is $861.  After reading responses, this figure appears low.
