Has anyone removed and replaced the ignition switch on an 82 Vanagon? The Bentley manual on pages 94.2 and 94.3 shows removing the steering lock housing using a puller, and reinstalling it with special VW tools. Can it be done without these tools? Can't the switch be replaced without removing the housing? Ken 82 Westy 2.0 Austin, TX
