Hello,

I own a very basic vanagon (called "Transporter" here) which has no
mount location for speakers in the doors. I removed the doors panels,
and noticed a large hole in the inner metal side of the door where a
6" speaker would probably fit. However, a very thin plastic sheet
covers the hole, and I'm wondering if it is safe to remove it and
mount a speaker inside? Does this protective plastic sheet is here to
prevent water from coming inside or something else?
