Dave in Norway wondered about GL5 in his gearbox...... I would only run GL4 myself. VW states thats what you should use and I had enough experience with bad syncros on Vanagon transaxles that were running GL5 petroleum oil while a dealer mechanic to make up my mind. -Todd Hill VolksWerks Transaxles Olympia, WA
