I painted the caps for my alloy wheels this weekend. Much of the original paint had flaked off and they were pretty ugly. I used 400 grit sandpaper to smooth the edges of the remaining paint and spray painted the caps with Hammmerite spray paint. The color I used is "Smooth Aluminum" (part # 75995 10052) and it is a perfect match for the original color. Be sure to use the smooth finish paint and not the "hammered" finish. This is great paint--I bet it outlasts the original by a long shot. Mark McCulley
