I recently replaced all three access ports on the side of my 1982 Westie
with new ones from Euro-RV. I have the old ones if anyone is interested in
repairing or replacing theirs. Two of the ports have broken hatch door
springs... but the hatches are still intact:  that spring design was really
bad... the hinge pin was stainless steel...but the springs rust fairly
readily and no replacement for just the spring is available. On the new
ones, I've packed the door springs with grease. I also have a partially
broken faucet  that I have replaced.
