Just curious,

Does anyone know if VW (Germany) ever made a European version of a Vangon
with a 6 cylinder engine?

I've read recent posts about dropping other auto manufactuer's 6 cylinder
engines in them, though I'm curious if VW has a factory version?

I love my 1988 vanagon GL - though some up hills leave a bit to be
desired.....
