Hi,
      I'm getting a clicking noise from my left front wheel at about 35
miles an hour. I have an '87 Westie Syncro Camper. I suspect it's the CV
joint, but could it be something else since it's a Syncro? Also, driving
uphill the RPMs shoot up, but the van dosen't go any faster. Is my
clutch going out ? Is this related to the clicking or could it be
something else since it's a Syncro? I'm on an island in the North
Pacific and there are no qualified VW mechanics to advise me.
