Someone mentioned traveling from Pennsylvania to the Deep South and
spotting maybe 40 VW buses or Vanagons (or did I misread that?).
Walking three short blocks to a coffee shop today in a San Fran
neighborhood (Richmond District), and recalling the post, I counted 6
parked Vanagons, 2 parked buses and 1 passing Vanagon.  At least 3 were
Westies, and all looked like everyday drivers and probably are.
