The grey (at least on mine) rubber trim that runs all over the interior on my westy seems to be cut short at many spots. for instance there is a good 1.25 inches of bare wood showing on the front edge of the counter (not table) to the left of the fridge.  Is this common?  I have been told that this material is not available anywhere.  True?  Has any one out there found  an alternative source or tried to contact Westfalia-werk themselves?
