I recently changed out the coolant in my 87 Vernon Camper.

After reading several articles available on the net,  I decided to bite the
bullet and use the VW spec coolant from Autobahn (available at VW dealers).
I've heard so many nightmares about the jackets corroding and dripping
coolant onto the engine mounts, causing them to corrode as well.  The
results are very expensive.

I hope it proves to be the necessary "ounce of prevention".
