Richard,
I'm wondering the same. My '93 EV MV with 97,000 miles just started
making noises which sounds like piston slap. It occurs only when cold
for the first 2-3 minutes then disappears. It's not lifter noise, more
of a slight nock almost sounding like a diesel engine.
