Jim, you are correct.  I get more rain then I would expect between awning and van. 

Hey folks does anyone have a Fiamma and have a working solution to the rain in the van issue? 

I was going to start trying things like a pool noodle between awning case and bus but have not started yet.  

Who out there has already solved it? 

Glad to hear the ARB doesn’t have that problem.
