Friend of mine here in town has had a few dash foils made. They are his redesign of the stock foil, using a better film, surface mount components, and gold plated contacts.

I’ll let you know how it works out after he populates the foils and we test them.

Yes, there are other options to a failing foil ( one of which I’m using now). I think this option has some advantages, a cleaner look etc.
