Like Mark, I'll never use Facebook or Twitter.

I agree this list will not appeal to people who prefer to use social
networks, mostly on their mobile devices.  I regret that disconnection,
but I doubt that'll change soon.

I prefer this list, because it's easier for me to work with emails than
a web forum.

I also enjoy following web sites with RSS.  But that doesn't work well
for a high-traffic forum.  I've tried TheSamba's RSS feeds:

But for some reason it just didn't work for me.  Maybe the traffic is
just too high.  Maybe it's because it doesn't present threads in a tree.
  Probably a combination.

Maybe I'll build a filtered RSS feed that includes only new topics.
When I see a topic of interest, I'll add it to my "Watched Topics" on
TheSamba, so replies are delivered to me via email.  (I can't remember
whether those emails are threaded?)

Tell me: Do you use TheSamba?  Through the web?  Email alerts on Watched
Topics?
