Another Friday question (and I'm cc'ing Eric because even my own messages end up in my Junk mailbox!)

I'm looking for a new stereo.  I am having a hard time with the visibility of my current unit, and was wondering if there was one of those new fangled units with a slide out screen that might be appropriate.  I've read though that sometimes the angle is poor for visibility, so i was wondering if anyone could personally recommend a model?

07 new beetle convertible. My wife bought it in 2011 and it has 110k km now. It’s starting to drive like a tank. I didn’t really notice until we got a loaner 19 Golf from the dealer while the rockers are being replaced under warranty. What would make it drive like new again? Shocks? Springs? Both? Any recommendations?
