hello all,my 82 "diesel" (2.0 aba) has an odd rear wheel rattle that my local shop cannot seem to identify although it isn't subtle sounding. it doesn't appear to be coming from transmission or CV's as it will happen regardless of load on the transmission/engine. when driving down my bumpy street it "knocks" seemingly in unison with all small bumps. the shocks and wheel bearings were replaced about 1.5 years ago. i've taken it in 2x and they can't tell me what it is but the noise is getting louder which is concerning. I can grab the top of my rear wheel and yank the van side to side and get play and a small knocking noise that seems to be coming from between the wheel and the suspension arm. ideas? the nuts are all uber tight. whats in there that can be loose?
