Well, for what its worth, I ordered five Hankook RA08s in 195R14C today.  Should have them next Wednesday.  $631.47 for the five, mounted, with lifetime balance and rotation, Discount Tire.  Kumho 857s would have been another $200 for five.  Nexen SV820 I just never could get my mind around trusting, and I don't like to do business with WalMart anyway.  I always like to have five identical tires.  I hope these work out.

Buying tires is always an experiment, of sorts, unless there is a tire that has served well on the same vehicle.  I thought the Kumhos did not provide enough miles for the price, though they handled well.

Since Bonnie and I will be moving to Spokane, I guess I'll need to find a winter tire for the van, too.  mcneely
