The local dealer having informed me that the nearest roll of the
plastic protective hose was 3,000 miles away in California (and me
not even daring to ask the price), we decided to use 5/8" heater hose
for the purpose.  I've got one word: Don't.  It worked, but it made
our lives miserable.
