Hopefully I'm using the correct term for this part.

Ironically I couldn't find my original image on my HDD so had to copy it
from my pic on Larrys VW Facebook page. My smiling mug and newb ignorance
for the world to see!

It goes between filler pipe and fender well NOT in front as shown.  Yeesh.
 ;)

Just in case anyone else decides not to study up on the Bentley pics before
resealing their fuel tank!
