$3500 OBO, cash (or equivalent). As-is, no warranty.

Really like this rig, but wife's grandmother is giving us a practically
brand-new Merc Grand Marquis. We live in a townhouse, have no garage and
just can't keep all the cars. Selling an 1984 Rabbit GTi, as well.

Will definitely miss both.

The Specs:

1988 GL with Automatic transmission, stock 2.1 WBX engine, unknown mileage,
jumpseats, grey interior, power locks, power mirrors, power brakes, power
steering, air conditioning (non-working), tinted windows.

I would drive this rig, anywhere.

The bad:

Not going lie or hide anything.

   - Has a full Krylon rattle can spray paint job in Regal Blue.
   - No radio.
   - Passenger power mirror is non-working.
   - Passenger power door lock is non-working.
   - Passenger mirror does not have the spring installed, so it "flops".
Just need to disassemble and install.
   - Non-working AC. Unknown issues. All components present.
   - Non-working odometer.
   - Rear fiberglass bumper missing the "sides"
   - Rear left lower panel crunched. This is the sheet metal directly behind
the rear wheel. It is replaceable. I had a blowout.
   - No cup holders

The Good:

   - All glass removed and rust corrected 3 months ago.
   - Dents pulled, smoothed, primered & painted.
   - Rear hatch, doors, side panels and floor completely lined with Peel N
   Seal. Very quiet.
   - Has a full Krylon rattle can spray paint job in Regal Blue.
   - 3 month old New Windshield.
   - All new window & windshield seals.
   - Tinted windows.
   - AMC heads replaced 2 years ago.
   - Fuel Lines replaced 1 year ago.
   - Toque converter remanned 4 years ago.
   - CV axles replaced 3 months ago.
   - 9 month old battery.
   - 9 month old alternator.
   - Rear diff, trans, brake, and coolant properly drained & filled with
   correct fluids.
   - Oil changed every with Valvoline 20/50 Syntheic.
   - Mann oil filter changes.
   - 2 year old Cooper 205/70/14s
   - Cruise Control works.

I have really enjoyed owning this rig; it has served my family well. I will
own another one, once I get moved out of this townhouse and have a proper
garage. I would drive this van across country anytime. Stock engine is
strong for a WBXer. Strong transmission. I keep up in traffic manual
shifting no problem.

I completely dis-assembled the interior, seats, carpet, panels, everything
but the dash and did a complete Peel N Seal job, earlier this year. Removed
all the glass and correctly fixed rust in the window frames and the seams
with POR 15. Sanded, primed and repainted with Krylon as best as could.
Looks really good compared to previous.

Only needs a few minor fixes and an AC rebuild. Good, solid van over-all.

Have owners manual, Vanagon service manual and some extra parts.

$3500 OBO, cash (or equivalent). As-is, no warranty. Email for
