Driving up to Redding to see my sister last Tuesday, passed a metallic gray
(90? 91?) Syncro Westy south of Sacramento: spare tire and ladder on the
back hatch (shovel strapped to ladder, signifying a REAL off road driver),
SA grille, and a Subaru 2.2 or 2.5 with bright, shiny stainless steel
headers. We detoured to Davis to eat lunch, and then passed them AGAIN on
I-5 north of Sacramento. I would've waved, but I was driving a rented Dodge
Avenger (yawn).
