I had to run some errands today. Unlike last week, when it was well below
freezing, and the van ran just fine, we've been experiencing some
above-freezing temperatures, and today it was raining. So I'd have to say
that it's somewhat humid (like, 90%) today, but not particularly cold (mid
30's [F]).

On more than one occasion the engine ran like poo-poo after being started.
Was gutless; and pressing on the gas pedal didn't do anything useful. I
mean, the engine kind of sped up a bit, but let's just say that someone
honked at me in irritation 'cause it took me so long to cross the street.

But after a few moments, the engine got with the program and gave no
trouble for the rest of the trip . . . until I parked the van, went into
some store to find something pretty for Mrs Squirrel, came back out,
started the van and the whole gutless thing started over again.

There's something fishy going on.
