Sold my 90 Bordeaux red Multivan tonight to a very nice guy�who will be using it as intended. Traveling and camping. �I wish him all the luck; he just�touched down in the US after working abroad for the summer and he's going straight from Green Bay to Waterloo Iowa tonight.� 
I had just about given up selling it and had started putting together a 3 month plan to get back on top of Vanagon preventative maintenance.
Thought I'd be happy getting my asking price.� Not really. The kids won't talk to me, wife cried and dog growled at me. We had it since April,2002. We recently bought a small camper and weren't using the Vanagon except for commuting and groceries.
