As most of us know by now, some of the headlight adjustment parts have become NLA, and that is beginning ot pose an aggravating problem - trying to keep our lighting adjusted and keep the lamps from just flopping around up front. The one most problematic at the moment is the upper outboard adjuster - the horizontal adjuster - on the outboard light fixture. I am going to attempt to make duplicates of the plastic insert that snaps into the lamp fixture frame. If this works, all one would need do would be to take the old broken one out, remove the screw, snap the new insert into place and put the adjusting screw back in the new insert. What I need is an unbroken insert for that upper, outside lamp adjuster. I have materials on hand to make a mold and a few of these, if I can get my hands on the insert in question. I would use my own, but my rig's lighting is currently held together with chewing gum and baling wire more or less - far from satisfactory, but for the moment it works. If any one has one of these that is intact and would lend it out, it would be much appreciated. I will return it or like kind. I know how precious these things are getting to be. Thanks, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
