I think anyone volunteering to transport Gerry must submit detailed photos
of their Vanagon and copies of its maintenance history for the last two
years.  Only after majority List member approval will anyone be allowed to
have direct contact with Gerry.  All participating Vanagons will be
implanted with a GPS tracking device so the List can monitor Gerry's
progress and issue traffic/road construction alerts.  Perhaps there could
also be a few prearranged List Member gatherings along the route so Volks
could get a glimpse of Gerry as he passes through their area.  Oh, and Gerry
told me he'd like to see the Grand Canyon, Silicon Valley and maybe Crater
Lake if it's not too much trouble?
