tonight I was messing with my cig lighter bulb, and took the led out, put
back the lamp because the led shines off the end and the lamp shines off the
sides where the bezel can make the most advantage of it.

When I got it all plugged in the light came on.  I looked over and the
running/dash/lights were not turned on.  I hit the light switch on the dash
and the lights came on as usual, except the light for the cig lighter bezel
went out.  somebody tell me that's not normal.  and, what might be causing
this?  have not consulted the Bentley yet but I don't recall anything
special about that circuit.
