Our rearview mirror turned to dust (well, the plastic did, the glass is just
fine of course) so I'm thinking of replacing it with one that sticks on the
windshield (suggestions welcomed -- any old mirror from the wreckers, or
something special?) but that will leave the old bracket wanting removal.

Is the mirror bracket glued in place or mechanically attached? (OK, I'm
being lazy by asking, instead of taking out the headliner and looking :-)
