Since I upgraded my engine and harness to 2.1 I also installed a 2-wire fuel
pump power/ground hook up.

The question... which is which plug at the fuel pump?  I don't recall seeing
any + or - signs on the fuel pump body.   Does the fuel pump run backwards
if you get them backwards?

I have the battery in and now am cranking my newly installed engine, so I
want to make sure I'm pumping fuel in the right direction.
