As some of you may recall Roadhaus (Larry Chase) had helped several months ago with getting parts for an '85GL that was in desperate need. Well, the parts arrived flawlessly and the PIF fund was a fantastic help. Since then there hasn't been a ton of progress on the project due to some employment changes for the owner and myself having a very busy summer with buying, selling, and moving houses. So long story short this past weekend we made some progress and finally got the new gas tank installed and got the fuel system put back together (still have to replace all of the fuel lines). Just for kicks we threw a battery and a litte gas in it to see if it would start - well I tell you what after that fuel made it through the damn thing fired right up no problems and sounded pretty good too. I couldn't beleive it. So now to fix the collant system, brakes, install the guage cluster, tune up, and several other odds and ends and it just might actually make it back on the road. What fun. Enjoy your Friday! -- Thanks, Jeff '90 Carat (Grover) '86 (We call this one Parts) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus
