Does anyone know a way to get my '91 automatic Vanagon Carat to
freewheel or coast after letting off the gas pedal, going, say, 60-70
mph? It seem to do this between 2k and 1k rpm, dropping back to idle
but when reving 3k or more it stays there and acts as a motor brake
when letting off the gas. Shifting to neutral works but =20
inconvienent. An electric switch controller would work nicely.
