I was wondering how many people have successfully used curtains other than stock, or made their own? Have photos of how it looks?

I washed my curtains, and while they are fine an clean, they shrunk slightly in lenght - just enough that they don't stay behind the rubber-band that runs under the windows. (But they are long enough to block the windows.)
