( thanks for the google links and pics Neil...........but no dice on being able to join google though tried 8 times ) now.........my real reason to post : 83 waterboxer westy. Dometic fridge does 38 degrees F overnight on 110AC. does 'OK' on propane. Doesn't seem real strong, but saw 41 degrees and fan on back of fridge cycles off and on. but on 12 volts driving - only drove 30 minutes so perhaps that's why it doesn't seem to do much. I did check that the relay under the seat energizes and suppies power to one of the fuses behind the driver's seat when the alternator is charging. so is that 'just how they are' ? ..........ie. very slow in the 12volt mode. thnx, scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "neil N" <musomuso@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2008 5:33 PM Subject: Attn: Dometic Experts! > Hi all. > > I'm swapping out my 182A for a 182B. > > Is the 182B supposed to have this piece of trim I'm pointing at? > > http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/182Atrim.jpg/182Atrim-full;init:.jpg > > The 182B: > > http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/AddTrimto182B.jpg/AddTrimto182B-full;init:.jpg > > 182B didn't come to me with this piece, and I don't know if it came > with from the factory. > > Thanks much, > > Neil. > > > > -- > Neil Nicholson '81 JettaWesty "Jaco > http://groups.google.com/group/vanagons-with-vw-inline-4-cylinder-gas-engines > http://web.mac.com/tubaneil > http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/
