Rolled the Orphan ('82 Diesel Westy) yesterday. Doesn't look too bad,
but the difference in the diagonals across the rear hatch is three
inches so I suspect that it's done.

(So now everyone knows why I'm a bit short tempered about the Friday
stuff....)

Found an A'wagen on the Samba that may be a replacement.  Does

Everyone on WetWesties wanted to know what happened, so:

Towing a deader Passat to the boneyard with a strap.  Tow'd lost
brakes so he pulled the ebrake at about 40 mph.  Brakes locked and
turned me into the ditch. Rolled the Passat too. No injuries except
vehicles and pride.

All on me b'day.
