While replacing the seals on my 91 westy I removed the expansion tank from the passenger side. While trying to do this the nipple broke off of the valve that attaches to the line leading back to the charcoal filter. The dealer wants over $30 for the valve, and I don't yet know if the driver's side will need replacing. Is it a good idea to try to repair the broken plastic nipple? If so what is the best adhesive for this task? Also, the previous owner sprayed the entire underbody with bed liner, and while this is generally good, it has made finding and removing some nuts difficult. Is there something that I can spray/brush/soak the stuff in to remove the liner?
