Well, that's downright evil.  And rather strange.  I know most of the
officers here in La Grande by first name, and I also know that they'll go
out of their way to nail folks for DUI.  It's rather an obsession.  I can't
imagine one of them letting it slide!  Did this fellow know the drunk, or
what?

I figure that statistically I'll probably be nailed by cancer or a drunk
driver, since those are the two biggest killers in our country.  Glad you
escaped this one, sorry your Vanagon didn't!

That's just weird.
