In case anyone is interested I saw a diesel vanagon in the U-Pull-It yard
south of Chicago this morning.
WV2YG0256CH086963
It still had the engine, trans, axles, wheels, alternator, injection pump
Pretty much intact, in other words, tho the large hoses leading to the long
coolant pipes were gone.

Body intact but sort of rusty, cream and sort of orange
  Brown interior

Address of the yard is 14101 S Leavitt
Not sure if it's in Harvey, Blue Island, or Dixmoor

Half price day is Tuesday, but I don't know if I would wait a week if
interested, pretty quick turnover there sometimes.
