Hi all. This is for my Jetta engine into Vanagon conversion, but I am using the Vanagon FP. My thought: use '85 Vanagon relay block to mount relays needed for my Jetta/Vanagon conversion. 2 of 3 needed fit, but Jetta FP relay does not. Jetta fuel pump relay has pins set up differently. 2 spades are larger, one smaller. All in a different arrangement. I have another VW relay with 4 pins. Compared to the Jetta relay, they both have the same pin numbers and schematic label on them. No amp rating, but they look like they do the same thing. If the amperage rating is the same, could I swap in the other VW relay or use a FLAPS type relay? Pretty sure it would work safely, but just checking in with the more knowedgable electrical minds.
