One of the other Jeff's fuel pump issues sparked a question in mind.

How does the fuel pump get that initial pulse of power when the ignition key
is first turned on? Is there a relay dedicated to this one or two second
pulse? Or does the computer offer up the signal and we're only dealing with the
fuel pump relays in the engine compartment? One of the relays under the dash?
