After warm-up, there is an annoying humming from the
engine.

It just started this week.  It isn't there when I
first startup, and it doesn't get worse as I drive.

There are no idiot lights on, no temp increase, no
coolant loss, just a pretty loud humming.

A couple months ago my power steering fluid was down a
little.  I topped it off, and it seems to still be OK.

Alternator?  PS pump?  Is there any quick test for
these things?

Any help appreciated.
