I went down to bus depot yesterday for some parts and decided to check
out the park for this shindig. The park is very nice. Seems to me that
hiking boots or a mt. bike, horse or fishing gear are the things to
have.
I went into the camping area to check that out also. the best spot i
saw for a larger group of vehicles is the loop with sites numbered 9
thru 17. I n that same loop are 3 larger sites 48, 49, 50. This area has
a large grassy area as a common area. If more sites are needed sites 1
thru 9 are nice and also 26 thru 36 are not far away.
I spoke to the lady in the office and she said their's no limit as to
how many vehicles can be put on one site. Most sites can accommodate 2
vehicles with the 3 larger sites (48,49,50) being able to handle 4 or 5
vehicles. She also said that each person should call for a reservation
in advance to get their name down on a site. She didn't say anything
about advance payments because i didn't ask.
As of yesterday their was only 1 reservation made for that weekend.
So the campground is empty.
To reserve a site call (215)234-4528 Tell her your with the VW group.
