Well, I spent much of the day, building my heat shields out of aluminum... !  This afternoon, I was cleaning out the van as it's almost ready to go... waiting on the key part of the ignition switch.  I was cleaning out the tools, left over hoses, as it had become the catch all of everything... and under a piece of old carpet, that had been in the van since I bought it.  There was all three pieces I needed, the heat shields I frantically searched for everywhere.

DUH... but as I look at them, I am not sure if I don't like mine better... but I will probably round up screws and put them on.  Everything is working,  all gauges seem to be working,  and I lack checking the transmission oil... with the cat and exhaust on it sounds so pretty.

The shifting is a bit balky, might need some oil on the grommets..?

We will put insurance on it tomorrow, and I've worked so long on it, I'm almost afraid to get out and drive it.... put it on the road...afraid I might break it...loll...!

I feel like I've just had a new baby....pass the cigars out....!!
