4 to 5 hours would be fast in my opinion.  Most people report around 8 hours - I took about 9, but I did remove the top for other reasons.

Dawn, owner of PLF from whom I bought my canvas from, says she has gotten a lot better over the years at it, but it still takes her about 8 hours and she has done a lot of vans.

Now my time, is for the early one,which requiring stapling and such.  Perhaps it is a lot less for the newer models.
